FOLLOW THE BAGPIPER FOR DOWNTOWN ALHAMBRA’S 9TH ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY PUB CRAWL! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 in Downtown Alhambra by joining in the city’s annual “St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl.” This year, the event lands on a Saturday making it easier for crawlers that will get to enjoy a brew or two at participating Downtown bars and restaurants. Kick off starts at 5:00 p.m. at Ohana Brewing Co., 7 S. First St. Following tradition, the bagpiper will lead the pub-crawl per the schedule: 5:00pm – Ohana Brewing Co. 5:30pm – 28 West Bar 6:00 pm – Big Catch Seafood 6:30pm – Tokyo Table 7:00 pm – Budda Belly 7:30 pm – Shakas 8:00 pm – Big T. Mini Mart 8:15pm – Azul Ultra Lounge The first 50 crawlers will receive a free exclusive Pub Crawl event t-shirt. Additionally, participants will also get the chance to win raffle prizes from various Downtown Alhambra businesses. The event will also be MC’d by the charismatic, Dameion “Lucky” . Smith who will be leading the pack along with the bagpiper.
, TASTE OF ALHAMBRA RESTAURANT WEEK SPOTLIGHTS DIVERSE CUSINES Downtown Alhambra is holding its first Taste of Alhambra Restaurant Week from January 22-28 as part of “Visit California Restaurant Month,” a national event celebrated in many major cities to help stimulate tourism and patronage at local restaurants. Restaurants are offering 2-3 course menus priced anywhere from $15 -$30 for lunch, and $20 – $50 for dinner. Diners simply need to call make reservations, visit the restaurant(s), and ask for their Taste of Alhambra prix-fixe menus. The week promotion spotlights the amazing and diverse cuisines of Downtown Alhambra’s restaurant scene. Diners can enjoy Italian, American continental, Asian Fusion, Japanese, Thai, Hawaiian, Korean, Irish, Peruvian, Indian, Mexican and more, thanks to specials at participating eateries that will offer specially priced prix-fixe menus just for the week.
