Downtown Alhambra Business Association will celebrate the holidays on Friday, December 1st with our annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Renaissance corner of Garfield Ave. and Main Street in front of the Edwards movie theater from 5:00pm - 9:00pm.

The Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is a free event that offers free photos with Santa Claus, live entertainment, hot cocoa, local vendors, activities for the kids and holiday cheer for the entire family. Photos begin after Santa arrives at 6:00pm.

Santa is driven in on the Alhambra Fire Department Truck on Main Street and greeted by the Alhambra City Council who will light our Alhambra Tree with a special ceremony. The Fire Department will be collecting toys for their annual Spark of Love Toy Drive.

In the tradition of spreading holiday cheer, donation boxes will also be available on site to help support the Alhambra Fire Department's Spark of Love Toy Drive. People are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift certificate to cheer up kids, and help those in need.

The program will have Santa riding into town via fire truck, and then lighting the Christmas tree at 6pm. After the ceremony, families can take free photos with Santa during the night. Attendees also get to enjoy adjacent eateries, shopping from local pop-up vendors, and holiday-day themed entertainment from The Impulse Band.
