Downtown Alhambra Business Association brings you its Annual Kids Halloween Costume Contest on Sunday, October 30th 2022 at Alhambra Pumpkin Run Hallowscream Festival.
The contest begins at 11:00am and ends at 1:00pm followed by trick-or-treating on Main Street for the kids from 1pm to 3pm. The contest is located on our main stage at the festival in front of Alhambra High School and across from City Hall on 2nd Street, south of the Farmers Market.

TIMELINE
Meet us for a “spooktacular” costume contest at the Alhambra Pumpkin Run & Halloween Fest Main Stage, located on 100 South 2nd Street (between W. Main St. and Commonwealth Ave).
10:00 am - 11:00 am: Registration and Pre-Registration Check-in begins at the Downtown Alhambra Booth next to the Main Stage
11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Hallowscream Costume Contest at the Main Stage
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Trick or Treating - Pick up a FREE Trick or Treat Bag* and Map* at the Downtown Alhambra Booth next to the Main Stage.
Visit over 30 participating businesses in a safe and fun walk around Downtown Alhambra
*Trick or treat bags and maps available while supplies last

Ages 0 – 3 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
Ages 4 - 5 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
Ages 6 – 7 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
Ages 8 - 9 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
Ages 10 -12 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
FINALS: 1st Place winner from each category moves on to compete for GRAND PRIZE of $300!

* AGES 4 - 5 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 11:20AM – 11:40AM TIME SLOT)
* AGES 6 - 7 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 11:40AM – 12:00PM TIME SLOT)
* AGES 8 - 9 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 12:00PM – 12:20PM TIME SLOT)
* AGES 10 - 12 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 12:20PM – 12:40PM TIME SLOT)
Then 1st Place winner from each category went on to compete for grand prize.
The festival includes activities for the entire family including our Certified Weekly Farmers Market, live music, Beer & Cocktail Garden (for the parents), kids zone, pumpkin patch, petting zoo and trick-or-treating on Main Street.
